Scientists find Gulf bottom still oily, dead
Our GOM is destroyed. The waters, land, Marine and Wildlife are still dying slow horrible deaths. The oil mixed with dispersant will continue to travel and everything will slowly die. We will see more Marine life deaths and see more and more Wildlife deaths. It has entered our food chain, yet the government is allowing seafood to be sold in restaurants and stores from the GOM.
The people that live there and work there, know the truth. There is documented proof by scientists, oceanographers and biologists. Who are you going to believe?

Six Months After Disastrous Gulf Oil Spill, Wildlife Still Suffering,
Dangers of Offshore Drilling Ignored

We have to realize that the oil just did not go away. bp dumped millions of gallons of corexit to hide it, to make it sink underwater. The oil is still there on the beaches, suspending in deep water and laying on the seabed. The People, Marine and Wildlife are in danger and being poisoned. Many reports are coming in that people are getting seriously ill. Our Environment is in trouble, and this does NOT only affect the Gulf area.
Our own Government is siding with bp and is outright lying to us. All they care about is the money. They are telling everyone to plan your vacations. Millions of people will be getting very ill and will not realize it came from the Gulf after their nice comfy vacations because they believed it just went away and believe everything the government tells them. I feel very sorry for the children because their parents were to ignorant to find out the truth before allowing their children and furry friends to be in the Gulf.

The oil is not gone. It did not just dissappear. The dispersant used and that they are still using is making the oil sink and it will NEVER go away. It will lay on the sea bed and suspend in deep water and travel, FOREVER! Do not believe what bp and government are telling you. My advise to everyone is do not go in the Gulf water and do not eat the seafood. The government is saying they are doing smelling tests on the seafood. Corexit does not have an odor. It is highly toxic.

OUR ENVIRONMENT IS DESTROYING OUR WILDLIFE!

Have you noticed the decrease in wildlife? If we continue to abuse the environment, our wildlife will not be anymore. That is so sad! They are not only dying because of over hunting; they are dying because they are losing their habitat to live and survive. From ages ago it has been the animals and plants that kept the Earth in balance. The more the environment is being destroyed, the more wildlife will be destroyed and near extinction of all. If you noticed, there are more and more diseases and viruses appearing every day. So it appears even humans are being affected by the fast and furious changes in the environment. If we don't protect our animals and plants, we as humans will be affected as well.
Businessman don't seem to care that every time they cut down acres of woods, they are taking away the plants and the wildlife's habitat to survive. Greed and ignorance have ruled the businessman and the government for too long. And the government still continues to allow destroying forests and over hunting. The population is growing out of control. That means more land is needed for houses, which means more habitat is destroyed which in the end means extinction of our wildlife. Wildlife is an essential part of our environment, to destroy our environment, wildlife will be destroyed and mankind will be destroyed as well.
If they keep taking advantage of the Earth, and until man realizes they are destroying what we need to survive, they will continue to destroy our environment and wildlife. If we don't step up and raise our voices soon, it will be too late.

Gopher Tortoise
"...Everything affecting the gopher tortoise's habitat affects the tortoise and ... eventually affects all other organisms in its ecosystem. Efforts to save the gopher tortoise are really a manifestation of our desire to preserve intact, significant pieces of the biosphere.
...We must preserve...the gopher tortoise and other species in similar predicaments, for if we do not, we lose a part of our humanity, a part of our habitat, and ultimately our world."
---Dr. George W. Folkerts, Department of Zoology, Auburn University, Alabama
